HARA and Sreeya Collaborate to Invent Halal Traceability with the First Blockchain Technology in Indonesia

In order to increase public trust in halal products in Indonesia, HARA, a blockchain-based data exchange startup, and PT. Sreeya Sewu Indonesia Tbk. (formerly known as PT. Sierad Produce Tbk.), one of the largest poultry production companies in Indonesia, are working together in building and implementing halal traceability with the first blockchain technology in Indonesia. Through blockchain, consumers can easily and transparently find out about the process of slaughtering chicken according to halal regulations, from the beginning until the end of the process.

McDonald’s Indonesia, one of the largest fast-food chains in Indonesia, is one of the consumers who will acquire a chicken supply using Halal Blockchain Traceability from PT. Sreeya Sewu Indonesia.
